The cinder block walls of this basement looked very bland and utilitarian so the owner decided to improve their appearance by adding wood siding.
We started by attaching pressure-treated wood furring to the wall.
The garage door trim also need to be furred out, so we pre-assembled new trim into corners and attached them to the existing trim with splines and exterior wood glue.

Next we installed OSB sheeting to serve as a backing for the siding.
